I believe therapy is a source of empowerment, a place for you to find and establish your own voice. My role is to support you as you develop and achieve your goals. Together, we'll identify the narratives and beliefs that hold you back, understand where these beliefs originated, and develop a more confident and empowered worldview. Drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness-based approaches, I aim to help you establish the tools needed to handle whatever life throws at you with clarity and assurance.
Areas of Special Interest
I specialize in women's mental health, with training in perinatal mood disorders that informs my work with mothers and those hoping to become mothers. I have experience supporting clients through postpartum depression and anxiety, fertility stress, and pregnancy loss. Women and mothers face daily pressure to be "good enough," and I provide a nonjudgmental space where you can prioritize yourself and your own well-being.
I'm passionate about working with women and queer individuals on identity development and creating a life aligned with your true self. Using evidence-based approaches, I help clients navigate depression, anxiety, relationship stress, and low self-esteem. Together, we'll explore how your life experiences have shaped your thoughts about identity and yourself. I strive to create an inclusive environment where you can explore your identity and become your best self.
I'm also Level 1 trained in Gottman Couples Counseling, a science-based approach that helps couples develop skills for deeper connection and clearer communication. We'll work together to better manage stress, foster openness and respect, and communicate more productively.
My Philosophy
Therapy is a collaborative space where you can discover your authentic voice and step into your power. As women—especially queer women—we face pressure to be perfect while navigating discrimination and invalidation. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your fears, validate your experiences, and challenge limiting beliefs. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and evidence-based methods, I help you develop practical strategies to face life's challenges with confidence. I specialize in women's mental health, perinatal mood disorders, LGBTQ+ identity development, and couples therapy using Gottman Method techniques. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or feeling overwhelmed, I'm here to partner with you on your path toward healing and growth.
